The State of Massachusetts issued a state-wide order to all adult-use cannabis licensees to temporarily stop selling product as of noon, March 24, 2020 to reduce the number of people gathering in a concentrated area.

Can I buy cannabis legally from Berkshire Roots?

Any adult age 21+ may now purchase cannabis from Berkshire Roots at our location in Pittsfield.

What do I need to bring with me to purchase cannabis from Berkshire Roots?

You will need to bring a government issued ID specifying that you are at least 21 years of age. We check all IDs carefully no matter your age.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept any US currency in cash. We have a cash machine on premises. Additionally, we can take debit and ATM cards that use a PIN.

Where can I consume cannabis I’ve purchased from Berkshire Roots?

In Massachusetts, cannabis may NOT be consumed in any public space, indoors or outside. Please consume cannabis in a private property location with permission, or in your own home. Cannabis purchased in Massachusetts may not be taken out of the state in any way. Police in other states will not recognize the legality of your purchases made in Massachusetts and your being found with cannabis on your person or in your vehicle in another state may result in fines or arrest.
