Elizabeth Freeman Center Rise Together for Safety and Justice 2021 Walk

September 21, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

For the past ten years, Elizabeth Freeman Center (EFC) has organized an annual campaign every third Thursday of September called “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes.” This event grew to be our biggest event, both in fundraising and also, as importantly, in friend-raising, to build a community movement to end domestic, dating, and sexual violence.

Moving forward, they wanted to create a new event that best represents our values and our community.

Rise Together for Safety and Justice

Moving forward, the Elizabeth Freeman Center created a new event that best represents their values and our community. They are launching “Rise Together for Safety and Justice! These last 18 months in the pandemic have been difficult, but we Rise Together, as a community because all of us deserve safety and justice. This will be our 3rd year in a row participating in the Elizabeth Freeman Center’s Fundraisers.
